About Ken Joyce & Swing Like A Pro
I’ve spent the majority of my life working in professional baseball as a coach and manager, with experience at every level of the minor leagues. After graduating from Deering High School and the University of Southern Maine, my passion for baseball led me to jobs with the Florida Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, and, most recently, Milwaukee Brewers. As a member of the USM and Maine Baseball Hall of Fame, I’ve trained players of all ages from the baseball and softball communities, teaching them the proper mechanics and feel of the swing. Players from the Little League to Major League levels have found success with my simplified approach at the plate.
Mission
The mission of Swing Like A Pro with Ken Joyce is to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for baseball and softball players of all ages. By teaching the proper feel of the swing (the how and why), instead of coaching just ideas (the what), players will gain an understanding of how their swing works. In return, the player becomes their own best coach and can make adjustments when needed.
